Government Never Discussed Imran Khan's Release, Says Barrister Gohar

Chairman PTI’s lawyer, Barrister Gohar, denied reports suggesting that the government had discussed any relief or negotiations regarding Imran Khan’s release, house arrest, or transfer.

Speaking to Geo News via telephone, Barrister Gohar clarified that their communication with the government resumed briefly before November 26. He asserted that no negotiations or discussions occurred regarding transferring the PTI founder to Bani Gala or offering him house arrest.

In contrast, PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat previously claimed in a TV interview that the government and establishment had proposed house arrest for Imran Khan. However, the proposal was rejected, and other offers were allegedly discussed, including his release by December 20.
