He led a meeting to check how power companies are doing. This included LESCO, PESCO, and FESCO. They got updates on these companies' work.



The Prime Minister said smart meters are key for clear bills. He made it clear that overcharging is a big no-no. He warned that anyone caught will face tough penalties.


He also talked about stopping electricity theft. He said it's vital for the power sector to work well.


He was not happy about the slow hiring of CEOs for these companies. He asked for quick and fair hiring.


He stressed the need to hire based on merit. He wanted everyone to work hard to meet NEPRA's goals.
